Kidz First - Jammies in June and July!

The terrible state of child poverty in our nation has been well publicised. Devastating stories of our Kiwi kids living in poverty with mounting health problems, little to no food, and few positive life outcomes.

Here are four jammies I made for children size 2-3 and 4-5. This was my first time doing children's wear and I'm quite happy with the way they have turned out :D Hope the kids like them!

The purpose of Jammies in June is to help keep kids warm and hopefully lessen the high rates of preventable illness in children such as Acute Rheumatic Fever; a disease usually only found in third world countries but prevalent in Counties Manukau. Jammies help keep little chests warm and during cold winter nights and decrease hospital admissions for asthma.
